Electric Picnic Styling

Hey everyone,

Here is my third and final Electric Picnic post. I got some requests to show you my other two outfits as well as what we got up to during the weekend.

I hope you enjoy.

Until next time,

Saturday OOTD:

I knew that Saturday was going to be a wellies and denim skirt kind of day as it had rained all the night before. The key to this look was layering and because I was unsure what the weather would be like I had a number of jacket options to keep me warm and dry throughout the day.

I themed my 1990 bodysuit with a black mesh tee to keep the look trendy. I had my white French Connection raincoat for when it rained and my Kitsch Topshop denim jacket to keep me warm. The necklace brought a really fun vibe to the look!

Bodysuit: Zara

Mesh Top: River Island

Rain Jacket: French Connection

Denim Jacket: Topshop

Wellies: Ralph Lauren

Skirt: Primark

Necklace: Topshop

Sunday OOTD:

The look for Sunday was all about these black dungarees. They are covered in badges which gives them a really cool festival vibe. I themed them with an understated striped tee and a pair of Mickey Mouse ankle wellies. I jazzed the dungarees up with a clip on rabbits’s tail.

Dungarees: Topshop

T-shirt: Primark

Wellies: Primark

Rabbit’s Tail: Topshop

The music was the main attraction of the weekend and we saw some pretty amazing acts. We saw Rob Grace (a local from my hometown) perform in the Oxjam tent, as well as Years and Years, The 1975, Le Galaxie and Walking on Cars to name but a few.

We also managed to see some other really cool tents while we were there. One of my favourites was Pamper Lane where you could get your hair done or get your face painted. It even had a pop up of one of my favourite vintage shops ‘Lucy’s Lounge.’

There was a huge focus on recycling at the festival which was really great to see as there was so much recyclable material in circulation. The Global Green area was full of information on all kinds of sustainable energy and was well worth a visit.

We pre-booked an outdoor hot tub for Sunday morning and I would highly recommend this. It was a great way to relax before the final day of dancing. We had our own tub for an hour and access to showers and changing rooms after. This was in the Body and Soul area where yoga classes and healthy food vendors were also available.

These are just some of the highlights from a fantastic weekend. I hope you enjoyed.
