Hope you are all doing well. I’m just back from a fabulous holiday on the beautiful island of Lanzarote.
Our hotel was situated in the Old Town of Puerto Del Carmen which is a really lovely area with an authentic Spanish feel. It’s also not far from the main promenade of Puerto Del Carmen which has some lovely shops and eateries. Somewhere between the two I came across this little gem of a cocktail bar called Beach Terrace Chiringuito. You’ll see from the photos why I fell in love with this bar. The decor is really cool and the view is fab.
This particular bar is right on the beach so I didn’t really get a chance to prepare my outfit. It was one of those spur of the moment cocktail hour callings and I really had to bring my ‘beach to bar’ game!
I was also wearing my new prescription sunglasses which I purchased in Lanzarote. All the details are below.
I hope you enjoy this look.
Until next time,
This cover up is from Moschino Swim in Brown Thomas. It was the most versatile item I packed for my holiday. They do these every season in different colours with fun prints and I will definitely be getting another one. It was so easy to throw over any swimwear and instantly transformed the look.
I’m quite short sighted and so the glasses in this shoot are actually prescription. I got these in Mo Eyewear which is a really cool Spanish brand. I picked the frame and they added the lens. I also got a pair of normal prescription glasses which I will share with you soon. I love the shape of these frames and was actually debating whether or not to get them as normal glasses. They are quite large however and so I decided they would be perfect for sunglasses. If you are in the market for prescription sunglasses I would recommend going for a much larger lens than you would normally.
The cocktail is a Coco Loco and I can confirm that it was good!
